Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Financial Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our contracting operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the contracting or construction sector and minimum of 15 years total experience, be fluent in English, and possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership qualities and a strong command of financial and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international tax laws, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Department of Tax regulations.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor project costs and profitability, working closely with project managers and procurement teams.
- Lead the implementation, usage, and optimization of ERP and financial software systems.
- Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CA is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management roles within a contracting or construction company.
- Strong knowledge of taxation laws and regulations as per the Department of Tax.
- Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
- Proficient in financial and ERP software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
