We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planning Supervisor to support and coordinate demand planning and inventory control activities. In this role, you will contribute to developing accurate demand forecasts, assist in monthly demand review meetings, and collaborate with commercial, procurement, and operations teams to ensure alignment between inventory levels and business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings, and coordinate with commercial teams to convey accurate demand signals
- Measure, control, and improve on forecast accuracy metrics.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing timely and actionable insights through reporting and data analysis.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and analysis to identify variances, slow-moving items, and areas for process optimization.
- Monitor and improve inventory control processes to minimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver regular inventory and demand planning reports using advanced Excel and data analysis tools.
- Train and guide inventory staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and achievement of departmental goals.
- Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure optimal stock levels and availability.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment between inventory levels and business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 4 – 7 years of relevant experience in demand planning and inventory control.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
