Duties And Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation, support, and continuous enhancements of SAP environment across relevant functional modules including SAP rollout to other sites and countries
- Ensuring that all SAP-related activities align with the company's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure the successful deployment, integration, and maintenance of the SAP system
- Implement and support some or any of SAP S/4HANA modules and functionalities including FI, CO, FM, CM, PS, QM, SD, PP, MM, EWM, PM, PPDS, IBP S&OP, Ariba Business Network Supplier Portal, SAC Planning, Group Reporting, Datasphere, Glasswing, PM Mobility, and Business Processes Library
- Ensure that the SAP implementation and support complies with industry standards, guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and regulatory requirements, particularly those specific to the pharmaceuticals sector
- Maintain the proper compliance and validation of the SAP system and enforce the proper change management process
- Collaborate with SAP team, other IT departments, and cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, support decision-making, and deliver the needed support and projects
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants involved in the SAP support and projects implementation processes
- Participates in SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements
- Lead and mentor junior team members
- Develop and maintain proper documentation of SAP support, implementation, and enhancements including technical and functional specifications, Unit Testing, UAT, system configurations, procedures, processes, and other related documentation
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and trends, continuously seeking opportunities to improve system functionality, efficiency, and user experience
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders, including end-users, IT departments, and senior management to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Identify, mitigate, and manage risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues in both SAP support and projects
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient use and optimization of the SAP system
- Coordinate with business teams, inspectors, and auditors in providing the needed information
- Respond to the inquiries from inspectors and regulatory agencies
Education Level :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certification is an asset
- Certification in project management is an asset.
Required Experience :
- Hands-on experience in SAP implementation and support is a must
- 4-8 years of experience in SAP implementation and support
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is an asset
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and support is an asset
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA project implementation methodology is an asset
Skills :
- Knowledge in SAP project implementation methodology (Preferably SAP S/4HANA)
- In-depth understanding of GMP environments, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and related compliance and validation aspects
- Understanding of Pharmaceuticals manufacturing operations and processes
