2.3 Purposes:
To manage all financial and accounting activities within the Karamah Station, serving as the primary point of contact for finance-related operations. This role ensures accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports the logistics and operational cycles from a finance perspective, handles daily transactions, and reports directly to the central finance team at the head office in Amman. The role is instrumental in maintaining financial discipline, vendor relationships, and inventory controls through the Odoo ERP system.

Reports directly to the Stations Accounting Senior Manager - today to CFO
2.5 Organization Structure Section:
o Grade Level: G-5
o Direct Supervisor: Stations Accounting Senior Manager
o Interacts with: Finance Team (Amman), Station Manager, Logistics Team, Inventory/Warehouse Team, Vendors, Auditors, Operations Staff
o Work Location: Karamah Station – Jordan Valley
o Working Days & Hours:
In Season: 6 working days per week – 1 full shift per day plus Seasonal cover needs
Out of Season: 5 working days per week – 1 full shift per day
3. Authorities and Responsibilities:
o Serve as the financial lead at the station, handling all finance and accounting operations locally
o Execute and record daily accounting transactions through the Odoo ERP system
o Manage vendor accounts, invoice processing, and timely payment coordination
o Monitor, register, and reconcile all station-related financial data including petty cash, expenses, and revenues
o Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
o Align with the inventory team to ensure financial accuracy of incoming/outgoing goods, transfers, and losses
o Handle billing and ensure accurate reporting of raw materials, packaging, and service expenses
o Maintain and update accounts receivable records; follow up on client payments and manage customer credit terms
o Ensure all financial records are in full compliance with local accounting laws and international financial standards (IFRS and Jordanian regulations)
o Support financial audits by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
o Prepare financial summaries, variance analysis, and dashboards for internal review and management reporting
o Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to develop financial reports and presentation materials
o Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, inefficiencies, or process gaps in station financial workflows
o Communicate regularly with the central finance team in Amman for alignment on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
4. Qualifications:
4.1 Education:
bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Accountant (CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
4.2 Experiences:
o Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a financial/accounting role, preferably in agriculture or industrial sectors
o Prior experience with Odoo ERP is preferred
o Familiarity with inventory-based businesses or perishable goods is advantageous
4.3 Competences:
o High proficiency in accounting principles and financial regulations (local and IFRS)
o Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, financial presentations, and Microsoft Office tools
o Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
o Capable of managing vendor payments and receivables follow-up
o Experience in bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
o Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently
o Effective communicator with strong organizational and analytical abilities
5. Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to the Amman Head Office or other station locations as needed.
