Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic
Account Manager to join our
Public Relations (PR) Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and executing PR strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with media, partners, and stakeholders. You will serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of PR campaigns and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients or internal departments
- Develop and implement effective PR strategies and campaigns aligned with client objectives
- Prepare press releases, media kits, talking points, and other communication materials
- Manage media outreach, maintain media lists, and build relationships with journalists and influencers
- Monitor media coverage and prepare performance reports and campaign evaluations
- Coordinate events, press conferences, and product launches as needed
- Collaborate with creative, social media, and content teams to align messaging
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on brand image, crisis communications, and media engagement
- Ensure timely delivery of projects, reports, and presentations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, media landscape, and PR tools
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a PR or communications role (agency or in-house preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic preferred)
- Strong media relations and content development skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and media monitoring tools (e.g. Meltwater, Cision)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with clients in education, tech, or corporate sectors
- Background in digital PR, influencer marketing, or brand reputation management
- Familiarity with crisis communication and stakeholder management
