Job Vacancy – Import Sea Freight Supervisor (Containers & RORO Vehicles)
We are hiring an experienced and organized Import Sea Freight Supervisor to manage incoming container and vehicle shipments, including RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise all import sea freight operations (containers and RORO vehicles).
- Coordinate with shipping lines, RORO carriers, freight forwarders, and port authorities.
- Follow up on customs clearance and ensure smooth port release.
- Check and prepare all shipping documents (Bill of Lading, invoices, packing lists, etc.).
- Monitor vessel schedules, container tracking, and vehicle arrivals.
- Solve any issues related to shipments or documents.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare reports on container and vehicle status.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in import sea freight (containers and RORO).
- Good knowledge of RORO logistics, customs, and port procedures.
- Familiar with Jordanian shipping and customs laws.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good English (spoken and written).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
