Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist with a proven background in international shipping and supply chain management, particularly in handling shipments from China to the USA and Europe. The ideal candidate will oversee global logistics operations, coordinate with international freight forwarders, ensure full customs compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Focus Areas:
· Quickly resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and supplier performance issues.
· Develop KPIs, dashboards, and improvement plans to reduce costs and lead times.
· Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and operations to prioritize shipments.
· Lead logistics audits, reviews, and risk-management actions to ensure supply chain continuity.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end global shipment flows to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
· Negotiate rates, service terms, and contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
· Optimize logistics networks, routing, consolidation, and warehouse utilization.
· Oversee customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across different regions.
· Manage inventory accuracy and support demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
Preferred Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Experience: 4+ years in logistics, global shipping, or supply chain management.
· Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic.
· Specific: Strong experience in international shipping is highly preferred.
Skills
· Strong understanding of global shipping, Incoterms, customs, and tariffs.
· Hands-on experience with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL partners.
· Data analysis skills (Excel, KPI dashboards).
· Excellent problem-solving, planning, and negotiation abilities.
· Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, Odoo).
· Strong communication and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
