Arab Bank is seeking to hire fresh graduates as part of our Data Science Academy program. This program is designed to train and develop talented young individuals for a rewarding career in the banking sector specifically within the bank’s “Data” projects, to support the divisions of Consumer banking Group, Corporate Institutional Banking, Compliance, Risk, and Operations. The new hires will be given training on banking business, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Data Science foundations. Followed by business case assignments to apply their banking knowledge.
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models to address technical challenges and improve decision-making processes.
- Support the integration of AI and Generative AI technologies to drive business innovation, enhance product offerings, and assist in strategic transformation efforts.
- Assist in developing software tools, APIs, and microservices to optimize AI model performance and ensure seamless integration within organizational systems.
- Participate in AI prompt engineering efforts, using advanced techniques to enhance model performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate in the development of software solutions tailored for AI applications, ensuring efficient and scalable implementations that meet business requirements.
- Work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights to optimize business operations and improve organizational efficiency.
- Support the creation of robust, scalable data pipelines, maintaining data integrity and reliability to facilitate advanced machine learning and AI model deployment.
- Support initiatives to refine data collection and analysis methodologies, contributing to the generation of high-quality, actionable insights for business innovation.
- Conduct statistical analyses and develop data visualizations to interpret complex datasets, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry advancements in AI and data science, assessing and recommending cutting-edge technologies for integration into existing frameworks.
- Adhere to data governance and security policies, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in the handling of sensitive information.
- Contribute to enhancing AB's position in the global AI ecosystem, through collaboration, innovation, and sharing best practices to strengthen the organization's influence and leadership in the field.
- Ensure compliance with AI ethics and regulatory standards, aligning AI technologies and solutions with ethical guidelines.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, BIT, Industrial Engineer, AI, Data Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates with a maximum of 1 year of experience in a Data Science or Data Analysis role.
Competencies:
- Fluent in English and Arabic language.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in problem solving skills and creative thinking.
- Ability to distill and present key findings to senior management and stakeholders.
