Position Overview
As a Group Operations Support Manager, your role is to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across all manufacturing sites within the group. You will support core operations by aligning production processes and driving the effective implementation of best practices in key areas such as batch production, raw material management, quality control, maintenance, and HSE compliance. Serving as a central link between the group’s operational teams, you will ensure the standardized use of systems and procedures, promote continuous improvement programs, and support operational readiness through the integration of relevant software platforms. A key responsibility is managing a comprehensive Group Operations Manual to support all operating companies in maintaining the seamless and consistent production line performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all group manufacturing sites to ensure consistency, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Assist local site managers in optimizing and upgrading production processes to enhance output quality and reduce variability.
- Collaborate with quality teams to uphold group-wide quality control standards, troubleshoot production issues, and support compliance with ISO or other relevant standards.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Group Operations Manual, ensuring it reflects up-to-date best practices, process updates and quality standards for all sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to maintenance to minimize downtime and sustain production efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and schedules tailored to the needs of each manufacturing site.
- Evaluate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices across all facilities to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate on safety improvement initiatives and training programs to ensure teams understand and consistently adhere to HSE protocols.
- Manage and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP and other production-related platforms (e.g. QC Software) to enhance maintenance and operational control.
- Organize and facilitate training programs, site audits, and best practice sharing sessions to build operational capability and knowledge transfer across the group.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Skills:
- Proficient in analyzing production metrics and operational workflows.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to document processes and prepare detailed reports.
