Warehouse Supervisor / Representative
Job Summary
Responsible for managing the receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and finished products in the warehouse. Ensures accurate inventory records, proper preservation of materials, and smooth coordination between warehouse, production, quality, and procurement departments. Supports timely material flow in alignment with production plans and QMS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the receiving and inspection of incoming raw materials (steel, aluminum, accessories).
Coordinate with the Quality Department for material approval prior to warehousing.
Support return, rejection, or segregation of nonconforming materials.
Coordinate with the production and planning teams for on-time material issuance.
Provide input in procurement planning based on stock levels and consumption trends.
Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and documentation of received goods.
Supervise storage conditions to ensure material preservation.
Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) practices and proper stock rotation.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse space.
Monitor material movement, loading/unloading, and dispatch activities.
Maintain accurate inventory records using tracking systems (manual or digital).
Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation reports.
Performs all other tasks and duties assigned by management, even if not listed above, in a professional and timely manner.
Strong knowledge with Aluminum systems and steel department.
Job Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5 years of experience in warehouse operations within metal or industrial manufacturing.
Good understanding of steel and aluminum products, accessories, and handling needs.
Familiarity with material identification, preservation, and traceability procedures.
Knowledge of inventory systems, barcode usage, and documentation control.
Fluent in English
