Position Summary
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving the overall commercial success of a specific program by leading its marketing and sales functions. The role entails developing and executing strategic plans to increase market reach, boost enrollment/sales, and ensure alignment with the program’s objectives. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the marketing and sales teams assigned to the program.
- Develop and implement program-specific commercial strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
- Design and oversee campaigns, promotions, and business development activities tailored to the program.
- Monitor and evaluate sales and marketing performance, providing regular reports and recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment with program positioning across all channels.
- Collaborate with internal departments including operations, product, and finance to ensure program success.
- Manage the commercial budget and allocate resources efficiently to meet objectives.
- Identify partnership and business development opportunities relevant to the program’s growth.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of achieving commercial success and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM systems, and performance analytics tools.
