Manager - Creative Design | Majid Al Futtaim Retail | Digital Retail
Role Purpose
Lead the creative direction for our digital experience across platforms. As a Senior Creative Designer, you’ll own the development and execution of high-impact visual campaigns that elevate our brand and drive business goals. This role balances hands-on design with leadership, overseeing creative output across onsite, mobile, and campaign channels. Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Senior Creative Designer leads the end-to-end development of visual content across digital campaigns and onsite platforms. You’ll set the creative direction, guide execution from concept to delivery, and ensure high standards across all assets. Working closely with marketing, onsite, and performance teams, you’ll turn briefs into engaging visuals that drive results across desktop, mobile, and app. You’ll also oversee A/B testing and use performance data to refine creative output and maximize impact.
- Own the full visual direction of all digital campaigns and onsite assets
- Lead the conceptualization and design of homepage takeovers, landing pages, product spotlights, campaign kits, and seasonal visuals
- Drive the creative process across channels (desktop, app, mobile) from brief to delivery
- Guide the design team to ensure brand consistency, high quality, and responsiveness
- Collaborate with marketing, onsite, CRM, and performance teams to ensure creative alignment and commercial relevance
- Review and iterate on assets based on A/B testing, engagement data, and conversion metrics
- Manage and mentor Associate Designers and freelance talent, enforcing clear quality and delivery standards
- Maintain and evolve design systems and templates for scalability and efficiency
- Act as brand guardian across ecommerce visual touchpoints
Functional/Technical Competencies
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
- Strong in responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Advanced understanding of campaign performance metrics and creative testing
- Experience with CMS constraints and asset optimization
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics dashboards
- Comfortable using creative collaboration platforms (Figma, Trello, Notion)
- Motion graphics or video capability is a strong advantage
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
Minimum Qualifications/education
- Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or equivalent creative discipline
Minimum experience
- 6+ years of digital creative experience with 2+ years in a leadership or senior design role; ideally in ecommerce or consumer-facing brand environments
Skills
- Strong creative vision with an eye for detail
- Capable of balancing hands-on design with team leadership
- Strong understanding of brand systems, user behavior, and commercial drivers
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and visual language)
