About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to be managing logistical operations related to warehousing and archiving while coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth flow of delivered products as well as handling inventory related issues and reviewing logistical procedures and policies related to warehousing and archiving operation to optimize executed operations in addition to periodically generating reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), stock levels and forecasts as per the set standards and procedures.
- Main Responsibilities, will include but will not be limited to:
- Managing and supervising logistics warehousing & Archiving team to ensure smooth flow of materials in a timely and efficient manner. as well as monitoring performance by setting operation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring achieving set goals and objectives
- Analyzing, developing and implementing logistical plans for warehouse operational procedures, as well as maintaining records of all warehouses activities and preparing inventory status reports.
- Manage the archiving process and monitor reports and SLAs to ensure that all documents are archived where they can be practically and efficiently retrieved when needed, systematically and physically
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and forwarders in coordination with procurement and following up regarding defective and slow moving items
- Reviewing logistical operations’ Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and procedures so as to identify areas of improvement that will raise efficiency and accuracy of work.
- Conducting operational and stock count audits for third party logistics companies and Zain warehouses and reporting any inconsistencies
- Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods in addition to analyzing inventory related data and logistical challenges to identify areas of improvements.
- Managing projects in coordination with concerned departments within Zain such as facility management, ERP projects…etc. As well as solving any problems that may arise while delivering and transferring items, and providing guidance and direction when needed.
- Generating daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on KPIs, stock levels and ordering forecast.
What We Need From You
To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum: 2 years of relevant experience.
