Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive
Maintenance
Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving mechanical and electrical systems
across our facilities. This role ensures that equipment and infrastructure
operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting smooth
day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and repair requests to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on machinery, systems, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and equipment documentation.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors when necessary.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Recommend improvements for equipment performance and maintenance processes.
- Participate in emergency response efforts as required.
- Provide technical support to other departments when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience (typically 2–5 years) in a maintenance engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call or weekend shifts when necessary.
