Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a BAKERY Operations Supervisor located in Amman. The Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of a bakery, ensuring smooth production, high product quality, excellent customer service, overall business profitability, managing staff, and implementing operational policies.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills and Operations Management experience
- Schedule and supervise bakery staff, assigning daily tasks.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and food handling standards (HACCP).
- Manage inventory: ordering, receiving, and tracking raw materials with FIFO/LIFO methods.
- Recruit, train, and mentor bakery staff (clerks, bakers, pastry assistants).
- Set performance goals and monitor productivity.
- Handle shift scheduling and resolve staff issues.
- Encourage creativity in product development while maintaining operational discipline.
- Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Operations
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve complaints, and improve service.
- Ensure attractive display and merchandising of bakery/pastry products.
- Track daily sales, costs, and wastage; prepare reports for management.
- Control food and labor costs to achieve target profit margins.
- Suggest pricing strategies and menu adjustments.

- Work with marketing to create promotions, seasonal items, and campaigns.
- Develop relationships with wholesale/B2B clients if the bakery serves them.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Strong leadership and team management.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry trends (hands-on skills are a plus).
- Financial acumen: ability to read P&L reports and control costs.
