We are currently seeking a "Cost Control Engineer" to join our team and play a key role in managing project costs, improving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, advanced cost control expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Role Purpose:
To perform cost control activities in order to ensure that projects are completed within budget and analyse the projects’ financial impact, while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Project Control and Contracts operations in compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Prepare accurate project reports, including monthly cost reports and financial performance analysis.
- Handle variation orders, update project budgets, and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.
- Oversee cost control, revenue recognition, and SAP-based invoicing to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Drive process improvements aligned with best practices, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity while ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Cost Control Engineering.
- Analytical thinking as well as communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Knowledge in steel structures, financial acumen, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office are required.
