Job Summary
Lead and oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, petty cash management, and ensure accurate financial records, effective internal controls, timely reporting, and adherence to IFRS and company policies
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise overall accounting operations and ensure transactions and reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Supervise the preparation of journal vouchers, financial reports and financial analysis and ensure they are done in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for the holding companies.
- Prepare annual budgets and latest estimate (LE) forecasts for holding companies.
- Lead ERP system optimization initiatives for holding companies through effective utilization of modules and continuous process enhancement
- Support external auditors by gathering necessary account information and documents to perform the annual audit.
- Ensure effective monitoring of accounts payable ageing through timely payment execution and proactive management of outstanding balances.
- Act as the key focal point for the Zug entity by overseeing all accounting activities and coordinating with HR and outsourced consultants to ensure timely completion of operational and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and control departmental purchase requisitions (PRs) to ensure compliance with approved budgets, supporting documentation requirements, and authorization procedures.
- Lead the process of yearly fixed assets inventory count for the holding companies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 6 years of Accounting experience.
- Proficiency in written, read and spoken Arabic and English.
- Strong knowledge of month-end closing processes.
- Familiarity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and IFRS.
- Familiarity with Financial Transfers, Interest Rates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
