Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman, Jordan. This role is responsible for understanding client requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and presenting suitable construction and engineering solutions. The Sales Engineer collaborates with project managers and technical teams to ensure accurate estimations, compliant designs, and clear scope definitions. Daily tasks include meeting with clients, conducting site visits, coordinating with internal teams, providing technical support before and after sales, and maintaining detailed records of leads, opportunities, and contracts. The role also involves building long-term customer relationships, supporting tender preparation, and contributing to sales forecasts and market development efforts.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and technical solution design skills relevant to construction and structural works.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills to manage client relationships, negotiate proposals, and support project delivery.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support and problem-solving skills to address client inquiries and provide reliable guidance on engineering and construction matters.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in construction, contracting, or related industries, including familiarity with tenders, BOQs, and project documentation, is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, interpret engineering drawings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office and CRM software are beneficial.
