Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer based in Amman, Jordan. The role involves editing and assembling raw video footage, audio, and visual assets into polished content for courses, marketing materials, social media, and internal communications. The team member will design and animate motion graphics, including titles, lower thirds, infographics, and visual effects, aligned with brand guidelines and instructional objectives. Daily tasks include collaborating with subject-matter experts, trainers, and the marketing team to understand project goals, develop storyboards, and propose creative visual concepts. The role also includes managing media assets, maintaining an organized project workflow, optimizing content for various platforms and formats, and ensuring all output meets quality, deadline, and technical standards. Continuous improvement through exploring new editing techniques, animation styles, and software updates is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production and editing, including cutting, sequencing, color correction, basic audio mixing, and exporting in multiple formats.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and animation using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software).
- Ability to interpret scripts, storyboards, and briefs and translate them into engaging visual narratives suitable for training and promotional content.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms such as social media, e-learning systems, and websites, with an understanding of aspect ratios and compression standards.
- Strong visual design sense, including layout, typography, composition, and brand consistency across video and graphic assets.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with trainers, marketing professionals, and technical teams.
