We are growing Tradeasia's presence in the Levant, and I am hiring a Country Manager based in our Amman office.
Tradeasia is the MEA commodity trading arm of an Indonesia-headquartered group. We supply food ingredients, detergent inputs, and industrial chemicals across the region: citric acid, cocoa powder, LABSA, glycerin, corn starch, and more.
Jordan is the base. The mandate is commercial: build and own the Jordan book, and work closely with our people covering Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey.
What I am looking for:
- Real B2B commercial experience in chemicals, food ingredients, or industrial distribution in Jordan and the wider Levant
- Trade finance fluency (LC, CAD, advance). You can read an LC and spot a discrepancy
- A verifiable buyer network in Jordan
- Judgment on payment terms. In our markets, the wrong terms cost more than a lost order
