Role Description The Sales and Application Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Amman. This role is responsible for promoting and selling gene technology-based medical supplies and diagnostic tools to healthcare providers, laboratories, and other medical institutions. Daily tasks include visiting clients, conducting product demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and guiding customers on product selection and application. The specialist will conduct training sessions and workshops for end users, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure high levels of satisfaction with product performance. Additional responsibilities include managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals and quotations, gathering market feedback, supporting product launches, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, understand client needs, and provide clear, empathetic support.
- Proven Sales experience, including consultative selling and negotiation, preferably within medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare solutions.
- Experience in Training and product demonstrations, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Background in Sales Management or territory management, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, medical laboratory sciences, life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Solid understanding of medical devices or diagnostic technologies; familiarity with gene technology applications is an advantage.
- Comfort working in clinical and laboratory environments and engaging with healthcare professionals at different levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
- Proficiency in standard office and CRM tools to manage customer data, prepare reports, and track activities.
