Junior Supply chain Specialist
Responsibilities
- The Junior Supply Chain Specialist supports end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, export, import, logistics coordination, and customs clearance. The role ensures timely execution, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between internal departments and external partners.
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage export documentation, invoicing, and shipment coordination
- Handle purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and procurement reporting
- Coordinate import processes, ensuring timely documentation and delivery
- Arrange and track shipments across sea, land, and air freight
- Support logistics tendering and monitor freight costs
- Oversee customs clearance processes and coordinate with agents
- Ensure accurate invoicing and alignment with Finance (suppliers, freight, clearance)
- Additional Responsibilities
- Manage FedEx account activities (samples, document shipments, etc.).
- Ensure proper filing and documentation (physical and digital).
- Support continuous improvement in supply chain processes and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
- Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good command of English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
