We are looking to hire an experienced and strategic Group Finance Manager
Sharif Eye Centers has an opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join the Sharif Eye Centers team in Jordan.
In this role, you are providing strategic and dynamic support to the Group CEO, preparing credible financial forecasts, budgets and full-fill statutory accounting obligations, applying controls in business management.
This role will be based in Amman, Jordan.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Group CEO, managing monthly financials / budgets / forecasts to group Jordan and other branches in GCC system, while analyzing business performance against key business metrics and track progress against budgets improving financial performance.
• Operate as a member of the management team, monitoring and enforcing internal controls and compliances while concluding all statutory obligations from an accounting point of view.
• Provide coaching to the operations management team on financial principles, and on addressing financial enquiries.
• Manage the taxation processes.
• Work with the credit control team for improved collections and insurance companies (business partners).
• Identify, investigate and analyze potential operational improvement as appropriate, based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes etc.)
• Evaluate capex proposals commercially and advise the management
• Work closely with the business partners
• Develop financial strategies for the businesses to maximize profitability
• Working in conjunction with the various business lines, oversee the delivery of financial inputs to business management and decisions for the company in order to maximize product and client profitability.
• Ensure the delivery of financial forecasts, which provide the basis for the company strategic planning.
• Manage the accurate and timely movement of cash through the business.
• Establish and maintain integrated financial systems, which support the businesses.
• Oversee the general accounting functions of the businesses to ensure accounts are current, accurate and compliant.
• Maintain and develop working relationships with banks, financial institutions and capital markets.
• Perform other responsibilities as mandated by the company CEO.
Skills / Qualifications:
• A career accounting / finance professional with 12-years relevant experience out of which the last 3 years is in a managerial capacity within a Healthcare sector.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior financial leadership role within healthcare / Hospitals / or services businesses is essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
• Must have strong knowledge and experience working within a healthcare / Service business.
