Company Introduction
A private multidisciplinary clinic in the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe International Hospital, which is being established by Avicenna Memorial Health LLC.
It will combine traditional approaches to treatment with the implementation of the most modern innovative technologies. According to the project, this clinic will be the first in the region to be accredited under the JCI standard and equipped with the most advanced technologies of 2026 (many of which already include artificial intelligence features).

About the role
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operational, administrative, financial, and strategic management of the hospital. The role ensures efficient hospital operations, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability, and achievement of organizational goals.
The General Manager provides leadership to all hospital departments and ensures alignment with healthcare standards, patient safety requirements, and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily hospital operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Monitor operational efficiency, patient flow, and service quality.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and improvement plans.
- Ensure effective coordination between medical, nursing, administrative, and support departments.
Strategic Leadership
- Execute hospital strategic plans and organizational objectives.
- Support business growth, expansion projects, and service development.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
Financial Management
- Manage hospital budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Ensure financial sustainability and operational profitability.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with local healthcare laws, regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain hospital quality standards, patient safety protocols, and infection control measures.
- Lead internal audits and corrective action plans.
Human Resource Management
- Supervise department heads and senior management staff.
- Support recruitment, performance management, staff development, and retention.
- Promote professional discipline and organizational culture.
Patient Experience
- Ensure high standards of patient care and patient satisfaction.
- Handle escalated complaints and critical operational issues.
- Implement service quality improvement initiatives.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare operational and management reports for senior leadership.
- Monitor KPIs, departmental performance, and operational targets.
- Maintain confidentiality of hospital and patient information.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a General Manager in the hospital or healthcare industry.
- Strong experience managing multi-department hospital operations.
- Experience in private hospital management is preferred.
