Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager at PINO RESTAURANT AND CAFE, located in Amman, Jordan. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient team management. Responsibilities include coordinating staff schedules, handling customer inquiries and feedback, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves mentoring team members, collaborating with management to implement business strategies, and working to achieve operational goals while maintaining a positive and productive environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- +8 years of Proven experience in restaurant management, operations, or hospitality services
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with an ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly
- Knowledge of inventory management, ordering processes, and cost control
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food and beverage industry
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
