At Cali Agricultural Fertilizers Trading, a company specialized in petrochemicals, fertilizers, and international commodity trading, we are seeking a high-caliber Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale our global operations.
This is a strategic leadership role for a results-driven executive with deep expertise in international trade, finance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and optimize end-to-end operations across international trading activities
· Manage global logistics, shipping, and freight operations
· Oversee banking relationships, including structuring and execution of Letters of Credit (LCs)
· Drive operational efficiency across documentation, compliance, and trade finance processes
· Supervise tender submissions in the energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical sectors
· Strengthen partnerships with international suppliers, financial institutions, and logistics provide
🔹 Required Expertise
· Proven experience in:
· International Trading & Global Business Operations
· Trade Finance & International Banking (LCs, SBLCs, Guarantees)
· Logistics & Supply Chain Management (Shipping, Freight Markets)
· Oil & Gas / Energy Sector / Commodity Trading
· Tendering & Contracting in energy markets
· Strong command of financial language, contracts, and documentation
· Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
🔹 Qualifications
· Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
· Professional certifications are highly preferred, such as:
· Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
· Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP)
· Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
· Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
· Fluency in English is mandatory (Arabic is a plus)
