Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and manage financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site role for based in Amman, Jordan. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, auditing, and maintaining accurate documentation of financial transactions. Collaboration with other departments to streamline financial processes is also an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with Jordanian tax laws and regulations, including VAT and income tax filings.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and support audits when required.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support inventory and cost control processes related to medical instruments and consumables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferably with previous experience as an Accountant.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo or similar accounting/ERP software.
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
