Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Director, based in Amman, Jordan. The Sales Director will lead and manage sales operations, develop and implement strategic business plans, oversee customer service to achieve excellence, and drive team management to meet and exceed sales targets. The role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of proven success in sales, with a significant portion spent in leadership roles.
- Industry Expertise: Deep experience within the hygienic products sector (e.g., diapers, wipes, sanitary products, or related FMCG categories) is essential.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to hit aggressive growth targets and manage multi-million dollar portfolios.
- Network: An existing network of contacts within major retail chains and distribution networks.
- Expertise in Team Management and leading high-performing teams
- Background in Business Development with a focus on identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
- Analytical skills to track sales performance and market trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
