We’re Hiring: Accountant (Mid–Senior Level)

We’re looking for an Accountant who can take ownership of daily accounting activities and ensure accuracy across all financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Your Mission
Own and manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate records, clean reconciliations, and reliable financial reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage and execute daily accounting activities across the platform (orders, restaurants, drivers, payouts)
• Perform daily sales reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurate and complete
• Review and reconcile driver (captain) accounts, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Execute weekly payouts to restaurants and drivers with full accuracy and control
• Perform regular bank and cash reconciliations and validate balances
• Reconcile online payments and transfers with internal systems and reports
• Record and post accounting entries in line with accounting standards
• Maintain and update the General Ledger with accurate financial data
• Record invoices and ensure proper documentation and archiving
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data
• Lead month-end closing activities and ensure timely reporting
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including sales tax
• Prepare and analyze cost center reports (Marketing, Operations, HR)
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows
• Contribute to improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls
What We’re Looking For
• 3–6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-volume or fast-paced environments
• Strong experience in reconciliations and daily accounting activities
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience working with ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Proven ability to prepare financial reports independently
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
Nice to Have
• Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms
• Experience in startups or building processes from scratch
• Familiarity with payment gateways, commissions, and transaction-based businesses
