About The Role
The Credit Control Officer will be responsible for managing receivables, payables, reconciliations, and credit control activities. The role involves monitoring outstanding balances, preparing financial reports, supporting credit risk analysis, and ensuring accurate financial records while maintaining effective communication with clients and capacity providers.
Key Responsibilities
Receivables, Payables, and Reconciliation Management
- Monitor receivable balances, follow up on due and overdue amounts, issue payment reminders, and communicate professionally with clients.
- Support accounts payable activities related to capacity providers, including reviewing payable balances and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Review and submit declarations and/or bordereaux to capacity providers within agreed deadlines, ensuring all required data and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
- Prepare and review reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, maintain proper records, escalate overdue or disputed balances, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Aging Reports, Credit Limit Review, Credit Risk Analysis, and Reporting
- Prepare regular aging reports, receivables reports, and collection reports.
- Monitor overdue receivables, track collection performance, overdue trends, credit exposure, and identify accounts requiring immediate attention.
- Prepare credit risk summaries and recommendations, ensure credit exposures remain within approved limits and company policies, and assist in identifying doubtful debts and collection risks.
- Analyze receivables, payables, reconciliations, aging reports, and credit exposure data to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fresh graduate.
- FMVA certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk concepts.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
Required Language Skills
- Fluency in English, including professional business writing skills, is required.
