ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate Manager – Commercial is responsible for supporting local stores with sourcing and merchandising activities, as well as sales development through visual merchandising and brand visibility at the point of sale while setting forward estimates for the different buying groups, considering a number of variables, such as selling space, trends, feedback from stores. The role holder is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the stores while managing all suppliers
ROLE PROFILE
Collaborate with store teams to ensure accurate execution of planograms, proper merchandising standards, full product availability, and correct display of all items.
Coordinate with vendors to secure timely delivery of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and support demand forecasting with merchants to ensure products arrive on schedule.
Develop and manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual merchandising and buying plans, while monitoring orders, budgets, and category performance insights with operations teams.
Oversee pricing procedures, support financial and product strategy communication, and ensure promotions and best-selling items are placed in key store locations to maximize visibility.
Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently applied, maintain all branding elements and equipment in good condition, and support the creation of updated design criteria.
Participate in training workshops, maintain strong product knowledge, develop merchandising manuals for stores, and explore trade shows for new merchandising ideas.
Implement merchandising design criteria, ensure adherence to company values, and collaborate with marketing on promotional leaflets and campaign execution.
Work closely with replenishment teams to align store layouts with inventory levels, develop replenishment strategies, and support initiatives that drive revenue and business growth.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a category or Private label or commercial role.
Strong planning, organizational, and project‑management capabilities.
Solid knowledge of product, category, and brand management, along with strong industry awareness and strong sourcing channels for private label production.
Proficiency in MS Office and related business tools, with strong analytical abilities to interpret data and drive insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
