Inventory Operator | Location: Kherbet Al Souq – Sahab
As an Inventory Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records and supporting efficient inventory movement within the warehouse. Your role is key to ensuring real-time stock accuracy, enabling smooth warehousing operations, and supporting both inbound and outbound logistics.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records using inventory management systems (e.g., WMS or ERP).
- Track and record all inventory movements including receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, and dispatch.
- Perform regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and full inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or delivery notes; report any shortfalls or damages.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of inventory items according to warehouse layout and safety protocols.
- Accurately prepare and stage items for outgoing shipments in coordination with dispatch schedules.
- Document all inventory transactions promptly, including adjustments, damages, and returns.
- Generate daily and periodic inventory reports and highlight stock variances or process gaps.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, inbound/outbound teams, and customer service for order accuracy and stock availability.
- Adhere to company SOPs and health & safety regulations in all material handling activities.
- Proactively suggest improvements to inventory workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced logistics environment.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) is a plus.
- Good communication skills with the ability to report issues clearly and follow instructions accurately.
