Role Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing cash van sales operations within the assigned area to ensure the achievement of sales targets, effective market coverage, team performance management, and the successful execution of sales strategies across all designated territories.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise the work of Cash Van Sales Supervisors within the assigned region.
- Monitor supervisors’ work schedules and ensure regular and effective daily market visits.
- Oversee sales expansion plans and the opening of new markets in coordination with Cash Van Sales Supervisors.
- Follow up on fulfilling customers’ needs and ensure product availability according to distribution plans.
- Handle customer complaints and issues directly and provide appropriate and timely solutions.
- Conduct periodic meetings with Sales Supervisors to identify challenges, provide guidance, and offer operational support.
- Submit recommendations and proposals related to commission schemes for Cash Van staff (supervisors, distributors, and drivers).
- Carry out regular field visits to customers within the assigned area to ensure service quality and strengthen relationships.
- Analyze market needs and demand for company products within the assigned territory.
- Monitor market trends and changes in competitors’ products and strategies.
- Track competitors’ pricing and product specifications and report market insights.
- Maintain strong, effective, and professional communication channels with customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the Food or FMCG industry is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- High analytical and reporting capabilities.
