Company Overview:
Nextwo is a leading B2B services company with over 15 years of experience, specializing in providing offshore IT staff augmentation and managed team services from our headquarters in Amman, Jordan. We serve a primarily Saudi Arabian and GCC client base, operating on a cost-plus model that delivers significant value and efficiency. As we navigate a critical phase of strategic transformation and growth, we are seeking a visionary financial leader to join our executive team.
About The Opportunity: A Strategic Leadership Role
This is not a typical back-office finance role. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on CFO to be a key partner in our company's transformation. You will be instrumental in resolving our most pressing financial challenges, building a robust and scalable financial infrastructure, and driving the company towards its ambitious 2026 growth targets. Your mission is to restore financial hygiene, and provide the strategic foresight needed to ensure long-term stability and profitability.
Core Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be divided into three critical areas:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Governance:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives, with a primary focus on improving cash flow and ensuring liquidity.
- Establish and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure necessary credit facilities and optimize treasury functions.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to the executive team and Board of Directors.
- Oversee all aspects of financial governance, ensuring compliance with Jordanian law, tax regulations, and international financial reporting standards.
- Manage cross-border financial complexities, including transfer pricing between our Jordanian and Saudi Arabian entities, ensuring full compliance and tax optimization.
2. Operational & Financial Hygiene:
- Lead the charge on the collections crisis: Design and implement a rigorous collections process to reduce Accounts Receivable to a healthy industry standard.
- Institute financial discipline: Develop and implement client credit scoring, robust contract/PO management dashboards, and stringent internal controls.
- Oversee the finance department: Mentor and manage the existing finance team and identifying skill gaps and planning for succession.
- Drive process documentation: Lead the effort to document all financial processes and workflows by the end of Q2 2026, creating a foundation for scalability and efficiency.
3. Commercial & Strategic Partnership:
- Serve as a key strategic partner to the sales and account management teams, providing financial modeling and analysis to support pricing decisions and ensure target gross margins are met.
- Analyze client profitability and concentration risk, providing data-driven insights to guide commercial strategy and diversification efforts.
- Evaluate the financial viability of new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports to the executive team and Board of Directors, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CFO, Finance Director, VP of Finance).
- Proven, hands-on experience in a B2B services, IT outsourcing, or staff augmentation company is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully managing cash flow, improving collections, and implementing robust financial controls in an SME environment.
- Strong experience with cross-border financial management, particularly between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, including a firm understanding of transfer pricing regulations.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
Certifications:
- Required: A recognized professional accounting certification is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates holding the Jordanian Certified Public Accountant (JCPA) designation.
- Preferred: Other internationally recognized certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) are highly valued.
Key Competencies for Success:
- Strategic Thinker, Hands-On Operator: You can operate at a high strategic level but are not afraid to dive into the details to fix problems.
- Urgency and Bias for Action: You understand the critical nature of our financial situation and can drive rapid, impactful change.
- Resilience and Composure: You thrive under pressure and can lead with a steady hand through challenging periods.
- Strong Communicator: You can clearly and concisely articulate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership and Mentorship: You are passionate about building and developing a high-performing finance team.
- Unyielding Integrity: You are committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.
