About the Role
Line Two is supporting a prestigious compliance and risk advisory firm to hire a Risk Advisory Consultant based in Amman, Jordan. This role delivers client engagements across governance, risk, compliance, and controls, with regular regional travel to support projects in KSA and Iraq.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver risk advisory engagements across sectors (financial services, fintech, government, corporates).
- Conduct risk assessments, process walkthroughs, and control reviews; document findings and recommendations.
- Support internal controls work (control design/effectiveness testing, evidence review, issue tracking).
- Support development and refresh of policies, procedures, and frameworks (governance, risk, compliance).
- Build/maintain risk registers, control matrices, and remediation plans; track actions to closure.
- Prepare client-ready deliverables (reports, presentations, dashboards) and present insights to stakeholders.
- Support project management (planning, timelines, status updates, stakeholder coordination).
- Contribute to proposal content and knowledge-building (templates, methodologies, research).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, MIS, or related field.
- Experience in risk advisory / GRC / compliance / internal audit / internal controls (consulting experience is a strong plus).
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills; comfortable producing structured client deliverables.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; high attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong plus).
- Ability to travel frequently to KSA, UAE and Iraq as project needs require.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to frameworks/standards such as COSO, ISO 31000, COBIT, ISO 27001 (any relevant).
- Experience supporting regulated clients and compliance programs.
- Certifications (or progress toward): CIA / CFE / CAMS / ICA / CRISC / CISA.
