Job Summary:
We're looking for a dedicated Human Resources Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the HR function. This role will work closely with management to support recruitment, employee lifecycle activities, HR administration, and compliance. The position offers the opportunity to grow within the HR function and take on broader responsibilities over time as the organization continues to develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring completion of required documentation and a smooth employee experience
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Support payroll preparation, benefits administration, and coordination with external providers to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures
- Support employee relations activities, including assisting with complaints, concerns, and workplace issues in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the enforcement of workplace policies to ensure consistency and fairness
- Support training coordination and employee development initiatives
- Track HR metrics (e.g., attendance, turnover, leave) and assist with preparing reports for management
- Support the use and maintenance of HR systems, databases, and documentation
- Assist with work schedules, time-off tracking, and attendance records as required
- Provide general HR and administrative support to management as needed
Over time, the role may take on additional HR responsibilities aligned with business needs and individual capability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in Human Resources, administration, recruitment, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of HR processes, employment practices, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR or payroll systems
