The Logistics Assistant supports day-to-day logistics operations by assisting in transportation coordination, warehousing activities, inventory tracking, and documentation. The role ensures accurate records, timely follow-up, and smooth coordination with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments in line with organizational procedures.
Core Responsibilities:
• Supports the department in research, administrative and reporting functions to maintain the work flow.
• Performs the Logistics activities for Raw-Material shipments of Jordan River Designs and Karma Kitchen.
• Performs the Logistics activities for Finished-Good shipments of Jordan River Designs and Karma Kitchen.
• Assist in drafting/developing logistics documentation (Shipping/Clearance/Exemptions).
• Liaises with other internal departments and stakeholders as required to perform the role.
• Assist in coordinating daily logistics activities, including transportation, delivery, and distribution of goods.
• Follow up with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Supports the preparation of delivery schedules and tracking of shipments.
• Assists in warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Supports inventory tracking, stock counts, and reconciliation under supervision.
• Ensure goods are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to procedures.
• Prepares and maintain logistics documentation such as delivery notes, waybills, goods received notes (GRNs), and stock records.
• Ensures logistics files are complete, accurate, and properly archived.
• Coordinates with procurement, warehouse, finance, and program/production teams on logistics-related matters.
• Communicates with suppliers and transporters regarding deliveries and basic logistics requirements.
• Escalate delays, discrepancies, or issues to direct manager in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any other related discipline;
- Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken) Years of Experience
- 0-2 years Nature of Experience
- Previous experience in retail or FMCG industry
