Scope of Position
As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be instrumental in driving our Company’s success by sourcing, evaluating and securing top-tier talent for various technical roles. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your recruiting skills in a dynamic, fast paced environment while helping to shape the future of our tech teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment processes in collaboration with the HR team
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and draft detailed job descriptions
- Screen resumes and applications and conduct initial phone screenings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with the hiring managers and other stakeholders
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics (eg. Time to hire, source of hire) to optimize the recruitment process and provide regular updates to HR Director, EMEA
- Foster long-lasting relationships with potential candidates for future job openings
- Keep abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, either in-house or at a staffing agency.
- Proficiency in social media, resume databases, and professional networks (Linkedin, job boards etc)
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
- Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience (internships, co-op programs or part time roles in recruitment or Human Resources are considered).
- Experience within a technical industry or a technical role is advantageous.
- Partner with Marketing to promote our Company culture and technical opportunities on social media, at career fairs and through online communities.
- Energetic with strong interpersonal skills; team player.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skill; proficient in use of, Word and Excel
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews, and group video interviews
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced organization
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Basic understanding of technical roles eg. Software Engineering, Data Science, Database Engineering, Systems Administrator and similar roles.
- Experience of UK/USA and Europe recruiting

- Working at a desk, using PC and telephone.
- Office based role at our office in Amman, Jordan
