Job Summary:
As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process of pharmaceutical products. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the efficient and safe production of pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical production equipment according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
- Complete production records, batch documentation, and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to investigate and address any quality issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines is desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
