The
Industrial Engineer –
Warehouse Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence through continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes. This role plays a key part in enhancing productivity, accuracy, and system adherence by identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and data-driven improvements. The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions that align with operational KPIs.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Lead the identification and execution of process improvements, automation initiatives, and lean practices.
- Ensure full adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices across operations.
Inventory Control & System Accuracy
- Manage and oversee cycle count programs to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and WMS records.
- Collaborate with the inventory and WMS teams to address variances and maintain stock integrity.
- Monitor WMS utilization to ensure data consistency and compliance with system processes.
Data-Driven Performance Analysis
- Analyze operational and system data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and performance gaps.
- Recommend actionable improvements based on quantitative findings to enhance warehouse output.
- Generate reports to track KPIs and highlight areas for continuous improvement.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with warehouse managers, system administrators, and IT teams to implement new tools or processes.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff to ensure proper understanding and adoption of new initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance for system integration and warehouse process updates.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure operational procedures align with health and safety regulations.
- Support the development of a safe, productive, and quality-driven warehouse environment.
Experience & Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Must have 2–6 years of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or operations environment.
- Solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), cycle counting, and warehouse KPIs.
- Experience with process optimization, lean methodologies, and automation tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities across departments.
- Must reside near the company location in Sahab, Khraibet Alsoaq.
- Must be available to join immediately.
