We’re looking for a creative and skilled Social Media Assistant who knows how to produce engaging social media content from idea to execution. In this role, you’ll generate concepts, film yourself, edit videos, and help grow and engage our online community. If you know what makes people stop, watch, interact, and come back for more, we’d like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and develop original ideas for social content (UGC-style, short-form video, storytelling, educational, etc.).
- Create scripts and shot structures for content you'll film and produce.
- Comfortable being the face of the camera — stepping forward, speaking, and creating content with confidence.
- Edit videos using CapCut or similar tools with strong attention to pacing and trends.
- Write captions and copy that resonate with different audience types.
- Build and manage a thriving social media community: reply, engage, nurture and retain.
- Collaborate with other marketing departments, including influencer relations, when needed.
- Track performance, analyze insights, and optimize based on data.
- Prepare weekly/monthly content reports.
- Any additional related tasks that support social media growth.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in content creation and community management.
- Strong copywriting skills and ability to write scripts that hook.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Video editing ability (CapCut or equivalent, including AI).
- Comfortable filming and being in front of the camera.
- Organized, proactive, and able to collaborate across multiple teams.
- A creative eye and sense of what performs well online.
- Portfolio required with application.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, content formats, and platform-specific creative requirements.
