Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Manager – B2C to lead our direct-to-customer (D2C) expansion efforts in the EdTech space. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with a strong track record in
opening new markets, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the educational or technology sectors.
As part of a leading EdTech organization delivering online classes and e-learning solutions for students from
Grade 1 to Grade 12, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our B2C growth strategy, working closely with marketing and operations to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead B2C Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting individual customers (parents and students) across key markets.
- Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and penetrate new geographical or digital markets to grow the company’s user base.
- Partnership Development: Build and manage strategic partnerships with educational institutions, digital platforms, influencers, and affiliates to boost visibility and sales.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing business development team; set targets, monitor performance, and support growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and academic content teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and campaign execution.
- Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for B2C growth initiatives.
- Customer Understanding: Maintain deep knowledge of our customer personas, including parent and student pain points, motivations, and buying behavior.
- Product Positioning: Support go-to-market strategies for new products, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in opening new markets and leading B2C acquisition strategies.
- Background in the educational sector or technology-driven environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of digital sales funnels, consumer behavior, and conversion optimization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- High energy, hands-on approach, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
