Job Purpose:
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the human resources function in Jordan, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with business objectives. This role oversees all HR activities including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, legal compliance, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with the country leadership team to drive HR strategies that support business growth and cultural alignment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters.
- Talent Management & Acquisition
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead workforce planning and succession planning activities.
- Performance & Development
- Implement performance management systems and ensure timely appraisals and feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Address employee grievances and support conflict resolution processes.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee local compensation strategies ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Manage payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with finance and vendors.
- Compliance & Policy
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with local and corporate requirements.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain accurate HR metrics and reporting to support decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement scores.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience.
- Solid understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organization is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
