Duties & Responsibilities & Standards of Performance:
- Order Preparation & Packing:
- Accurately prepare orders based on sales orders.
- Ensure proper packing of orders following company protocols.
- Double-check the accuracy of prepared orders against sales order before invoicing and dispatching.
- Include any special instructions or comments on order packing as per the sales order.
- Stock & Inventory supervision:
- Ensure that no items are removed from or added to stock without the relevant invoices, purchase invoices, or approved supporting documents.
- Maintain accuracy in stock transactions, ensuring that removed items match invoices exactly.
- Verify that items entering the stock physically match the purchase invoice.
- Organize returned items properly on shelves and replenish any missing or low-stock goods.
- Conduct continuous physical inventory counts and report findings to the Inventory & Operations Manager (IOM).
- Take responsibility for any discrepancies, losses, or unexpected additions in stock items.
- Warehouse Organization & Security:
- Maintain a well-organized and clean stock area.
- Replenish essential supplies such as paper, envelopes, and bags to ensure smooth operations.
- Safeguard the stock by ensuring that no unauthorized personnel enter or exit without IOM approval.
- Reporting & Additional Tasks:
- Submit a daily report outlining activities and achievements to the supervisor.
- Perform any additional assignments related to company operations as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- High school level or higher is required
- Experience in stockkeeping, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
