We are looking for an in-house Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, invoicing, and financial record-keeping, supporting the smooth operation of our finance function.
The Role:
As a Junior Accountant at Hamsa, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting other accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial and accounting reports.
- Enter and post journal entries accurately and on time.
- Generate, review, and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy.
- Monitor accounts receivable, identify overdue payments, and follow up with clients.
- Support accounts payable and maintain records of expenses.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing in coordination with external providers.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, invoicing, or accounts receivable; tech or B2B experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in English is required.
