Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team, with focus on fraud detection project/client engagements.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with clients to understand their business requirements and identifying opportunities to leverage our product offerings to help detect and prevent fraud, acting as the main player for driving requirements gathering, creating, and maintaining business analysis documentation, as well as collaborating with our development/implementation teams to ensure that solution are implemented according to business requirements and product benefits are fully realize.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the business analysis phase of projects.
- Managing communication with stakeholders (customer) and the project team for BA Activities
- Conducting BA sessions and focus groups.
- Gathers, understands, and documents business requirements.
- Creating and maintaining a business analysis (BA) document for implementation of product features in coordination product features and requirements.
- Analyze data, processes, and integration requirements as part of BA activities.
- Propose solutions based on best practices and individual requirements by clients and set client expectations.
- Identify gaps and communicate with Product manager/Owner for planning and customization.
- Full understanding of product functionalities and the business driving them.
- Work with client on illustrating the real benefits of the products’ features and functionality.
- Helps shape the vision of longer-term requirements with the PDM, analyzing impact on theproduct and participating in project planning andestimating.
- Communicate business/project priorities to the technology development teams to drive effective business solutions and planning.
- Participate in meetings with technical teams to ensure client needs are thoroughly understood.
- Stay up to date with market trends and regulations and business changes.
- Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, he or she will address change management issues and assist in test planning.
- Assist in managing project related customer escalation when issues arise.
- Maintains the security of the information, devices, and systems that EastNets, and its personnel, customers and partners use.
- Participate in company-wide initiatives.
- Perform other/ad hoc work duties assigned by direct manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience focused on business analyses role/function in financial industry systems (AML, transactions monitoring, Payments or other related).
- Experience in customer facing role is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge in APIs, integration, and related tools.
- Strong knowledge in data formats (XML, JSON, ISO20022, RJE and other).
- Technical background in payment systems platforms and networks (i.e., SWIFT, SEPA and other).
- Knowledge of payment messaging technologies, standard and core banking, mobile banking, e-Banking systems from a processing, operations point of view.
- Knowledge in Reporting and Business Intelligence tools.
- Knowledge in SQL, PLSQL is a plus.
- AI and machine learning knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge in agile methodologies.
- Skills in modeling using UML tools and Microsoft Visio.
- Knowledge in programming languages (i.e., JAVA) is a plus.
- Demonstrable leadership and analytical skills.
- Excellent command of English language (French is a plus).
- Excellent communications and presentation Skills.
