Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and multifaceted Educational Outreach and Marketing Strategist to join our team in Amman, Jordan. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the growth and visibility of BookSource products and curriculum packages through a strategic blend of sales support, educational partnership development, and comprehensive marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and creative professional with a strong understanding of the Jordanian educational landscape and a proven ability to develop and execute successful outreach and marketing strategies. This position requires a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing educational experiences through quality resources.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Responsibilities
* Collaborate with educators to identify curriculum needs and opportunities
* Develop and deliver tailored workshops, presentations, and training sessions for teachers and education providers
* Gather and analyze feedback from educational institutions to refine product offerings
* Recommend educational resources based on curriculum trends and market demand
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to educators using BookSource products
* Establish strategic relationships with curriculum directors, principals, and teacher leaders
* Conduct needs assessments to identify curriculum gaps addressable by BookSource resources
* Create customized partnership proposals aligned with institutional goals
* Organize collaborative curriculum planning sessions with educational partners
* Develop partnership agreements outlining objectives, timelines, and success metrics
* Ensure ongoing alignment between resources and evolving institutional needs
* Represent BookSource at educational conferences and professional meetings
* Deliver presentations addressing substantive educational topics
Sales Responsibilities
* Support sales teams in promoting BookSource products and curriculum packages
* Conduct visits to schools and educational institutions to introduce new products
* Collaborate closely with the sales team to meet sales targets and expand market reach
* Assist in organizing book fairs, exhibitions, and sales-driven events
* Maintain and update detailed records of sales activities and client interactions
* Coordinate and facilitate orders, ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams
* Develop educationally sound messaging for curriculum decision-makers
* Create curriculum alignment documents mapping resources to standards
* Develop comparison guides differentiating BookSource offerings ethically
* Collaborate on customized presentations addressing specific curriculum needs
* Create implementation roadmaps and success metrics
* Maintain knowledge base of FAQs, research findings, and implementation examples
* Conduct structured interviews and curriculum reviews with potential partners
Marketing Responsibilities
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote BookSource products and services
* Create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, digital content, and social media posts
* Manage digital channels, including website updates, CRM management, and online promotions
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and enhance market position
* Represent BookSource at local and international educational conferences, exhibitions, and networking events
* Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communications and materials
* Prepare regular performance reports to evaluate marketing effectiveness and propose improvements
* Implement and manage CRM systems to track educational partnerships and engagement
* Develop data-driven CRM strategies for nurturing educational leads and relationships
* Create customized CRM workflows for different educational stakeholder journeys
* Design and maintain CRM dashboards for monitoring marketing campaign effectiveness
* Create segmented email marketing campaigns for different educator roles
* Develop engaging social media content for professional dialogue
* Establish and moderate online educator communities
* Develop targeted digital advertising campaigns for educational audiences
* Implement search engine optimization strategies for educational keywords
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
* 3-5 years of experience in educational marketing, outreach, or a similar role
* **Must be a Jordanian National**
* **Must own a car and possess a valid Jordanian driving license**
* Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for educational products or services
* Strong knowledge of the education sector and school systems in Jordan
* Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools
* Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with educational stakeholders
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel throughout Jordan for school visits and events
* Flexibility to travel abroad to attend international conferences, trade fairs, training sessions, and business trips
* Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
* Experience in curriculum development or educational resource implementation
Additional Information:
- Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.
- Salary: Based on Experience.
- Health Insurance & Benefits:
- Comprehensive health insurance.
- Social Security Contributions:
- Employee contribution: 7.5%.
- Company contribution: 14.25%.
- Annual Leave: 14 days per year.
