Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accounting Manager. The main role is to oversee the accounting operations for our US-based client. The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant in the managed services industry, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled analyst, this person will streamline our accounting services and client’s financial reporting processes and supervise other accounting professionals and collaborate with managers from other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to client managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data
- Monitor organizational spending and assist other managers in creating sustainable and effective budgets.
- Ensure accountants maintain accurate and compliant financial records. Also produce and submit regular reports for managers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Lead a team of accountants and finance professionals, ensuring they produce timely and accurate work aligned with client’s expectations. Also provide training and mentorship to improve their team’s performance.
- Manage effectively a cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
- Supervise the preparation of audit schedules and support external audits.
- Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Professional certification, such as CPA is a plus
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to Travel and work in USA working hours.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
