Position Overview
The CEO will lead Alawneh Pay’s strategic vision, growth, and operational excellence. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in digital banking, mobile payments, and financial technology, particularly within the Jordanian and Middle Eastern markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
• Develop and execute Alawneh Pay’s long-term vision and strategy for growth.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities in Jordan’s digital payments sector.
• Build partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
• Drive innovation in mobile payment solutions to meet market demands.
Regulatory & Compliance Management
• Ensure full compliance with the Central Bank of Jordan’s regulations.
• Lead interactions with regulatory bodies to advocate for favorable policies.
• Implement risk management strategies to safeguard company interests.
Operational Excellence & Financial Management
• Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
• Manage budgets and financial planning to achieve business objectives.
• Optimize operational processes for profitability and scalability.
Product & Technology Innovation
• Drive product development to enhance digital payment offerings.
• Collaborate with technology teams to enhance customer experience.
• Use data analytics and AI to personalize services and boost engagement.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
• Lead a high-performing executive team to execute strategic objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the organization.
• Implement talent development programs to enhance employee growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years in executive leadership roles within fintech, digital banking, or mobile payments.
• Strong knowledge of Jordan’s mobile payment ecosystem (e.g., CliQ, Madfooatcom).
• Experience working with the Central Bank of Jordan and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in driving business growth and strategic partnerships.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L management and financial planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
