We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our client's hospitality projects in Jordan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, franchise development, and multi-unit management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, budgeting, marketing strategies, and expansion plans to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high service standards.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, including franchise development, opening new branches, and brand expansion.
- Maintain and improve service quality, food and beverage standards, and overall customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and develop new franchise opportunities in Jordan and other markets.
- Build relationships with potential franchise partners and investors.
- Ensure consistency in brand standards and operational procedures across all locations.
- Monitor and support franchise operations to maintain high performance and profitability.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and financial targets to ensure profitability.
- Analyze financial reports, control costs, and set corrective action plans when needed.
- Approve payroll, vendor payments, and other financial transactions.
- Recruit, train, and oversee the performance of managers and staff.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure a productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs for continuous development.
- Develop and implement brand strategies to increase market presence.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to improve customer engagement and sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
- 10+ years in F&B management, including franchise development experience, with at least 5 years in Jordan and 5 years abroad.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and financial management skills.
- Proven ability to expand brands through franchising and multi-unit operations.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and hospitality market trends.
- Willingness to travel for business needs.
